KINGDOM THINGS

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Effective Date: 5 September 2026

Thank you for shopping with Kingdom Things.

We aim to provide a reliable and convenient delivery service throughout South Africa. Please read the following Shipping & Delivery Policy before placing your order.

1. DELIVERY WITHIN SOUTH AFRICA

Kingdom Things currently delivers orders within South Africa using Aramex Store-to-Door Courier.

Your order will be delivered to the delivery address provided during checkout.

Aramex Store-to-Door provides tracking for shipments using the applicable waybill number.

2. DELIVERY TIME

Our estimated delivery timeframe is:

8–11 BUSINESS DAYS

This timeframe refers to the estimated period from when your order has been processed and dispatched.

Business days are Monday to Friday and exclude weekends and South African public holidays.

The 8–11 business-day timeframe is an estimated delivery timeframe and not a guaranteed delivery date.

Some deliveries may arrive sooner, while deliveries to regional, remote or outlying areas may take longer.

Aramex states that delivery times are destination-dependent and that regional/outlying areas may take longer than standard delivery times.

3. ORDER PROCESSING

Orders must first be received, processed and prepared for dispatch before being handed to the courier.

The delivery timeframe begins once your order has been processed and dispatched, rather than necessarily from the moment your payment is made.

Kingdom Things may require additional processing time during:

  • Sales and promotional periods;

  • Public holidays;

  • High-volume periods;

  • Stock replenishment periods;

  • Unexpected operational circumstances; or

  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where a significant delay occurs before dispatch, Kingdom Things will endeavour to notify the customer where reasonably possible.

4. COURIER DELAYS

Kingdom Things uses an independent third-party courier service, Aramex Store-to-Door, for deliveries.

Once your parcel has been handed to the courier, delivery is subject to the courier's operational processes, routes, service availability and delivery conditions.

Delivery may be delayed due to circumstances including, but not limited to:

  • Courier operational delays;

  • High parcel volumes;

  • Severe weather;

  • Road closures;

  • Traffic or transport disruptions;

  • Natural disasters;

  • Strikes or industrial action;

  • Public holidays;

  • Remote or regional delivery locations;

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information;

  • Recipient not being available to receive the parcel;

  • Security-related circumstances;

  • Unforeseen logistical problems; or

  • Other circumstances outside Kingdom Things' reasonable control.

Kingdom Things is not responsible for delays caused by the courier or circumstances outside our reasonable control, except where applicable South African law provides otherwise.

An estimated delivery date or timeframe does not constitute a guarantee that delivery will occur on a particular date.

5. TRACKING YOUR ORDER

Once your order has been dispatched, you may receive a tracking or waybill number.

Customers can use their waybill number to track their shipment through Aramex Store-to-Door.

Tracking information may only become available after the parcel has been collected or processed by the courier.

Customers are responsible for monitoring their tracking information and ensuring that they are available to receive the delivery where required.

6. CORRECT DELIVERY INFORMATION

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information when placing an order.

This includes:

  • Full name;

  • Street address;

  • Suburb;

  • City/town;

  • Postal code;

  • Contact telephone number; and

  • Any relevant delivery instructions.

Kingdom Things is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional costs caused by incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by the customer, to the extent permitted by law.

If a customer provides an incorrect delivery address and the parcel needs to be redirected or re-delivered, additional delivery charges may apply where charged by the courier.

7. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

Customers should ensure that someone is available to receive the parcel at the delivery address.

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • Nobody is available to receive the parcel;

  • The address is incorrect or incomplete;

  • The recipient refuses the parcel;

  • The courier cannot safely access the delivery location; or

  • Another issue prevents delivery,

the courier may make further arrangements or return the parcel in accordance with its applicable procedures.

Any additional delivery or return costs caused by information or circumstances attributable to the customer may be charged to the customer where legally permitted.

8. REMOTE AND OUTLYING AREAS

Delivery to regional, remote or outlying areas may take longer than the standard estimated timeframe.

Additional delivery charges may also apply to certain remote areas.

Where an additional courier charge is required, Kingdom Things may contact the customer before the additional delivery is completed.

Aramex specifically notes that remote/outlying areas may have longer transit times and that additional charges may apply in certain circumstances.

9. DELIVERY TO PO BOXES

Kingdom Things uses Aramex Store-to-Door.

Customers should therefore provide a physical street address suitable for courier delivery.

Aramex Store-to-Door states that its service requires delivery to a physical address and does not deliver to P.O. Box addresses.

10. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION

A shipment may require a signature or other confirmation from the recipient upon delivery.

Customers should inspect the package when receiving it.

If the package appears visibly damaged, customers should, where reasonably possible, record the condition of the package and notify Kingdom Things as soon as possible.

11. LOST OR MISSING PARCELS

If your tracking information indicates that your parcel has been delivered but you have not received it, please contact Kingdom Things as soon as possible.

We may contact Aramex to investigate the shipment.

Customers may be asked to provide information reasonably necessary to assist with the investigation.

Kingdom Things will deal with confirmed lost shipments in accordance with applicable South African consumer law and the circumstances of the particular order.

12. DAMAGED PARCELS

If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact Kingdom Things as soon as reasonably possible.

We may request photographs of:

  • The parcel;

  • The external packaging;

  • The shipping label;

  • The damaged product; and

  • Any other relevant evidence.

This information may be required to assist with a courier investigation or insurance claim.

Aramex Store-to-Door provides limited goods-in-transit cover subject to its applicable terms and conditions.

13. SHIPPING COSTS

Any applicable delivery charges will be displayed to the customer before the order is completed.

Where an additional courier charge applies because of a remote or outlying delivery location, Kingdom Things may contact the customer before proceeding with delivery.

14. THIRD-PARTY COURIER

Kingdom Things uses Aramex Store-to-Door as an independent third-party delivery provider.

Kingdom Things does not control the courier's routes, delivery schedules, staffing, operational decisions or unforeseen logistical circumstances.

Accordingly, Kingdom Things cannot guarantee that the courier will deliver within a particular hour or on a particular date.

However, nothing in this policy excludes or limits any responsibility or consumer right that Kingdom Things cannot legally exclude or limit under South African law.

15. DELAYS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

Kingdom Things will make reasonable efforts to ensure that orders are processed and dispatched promptly.

However, Kingdom Things will not be responsible for losses, delays, additional costs or inconvenience resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including courier delays, natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, road closures, civil disturbances, government actions, system failures or other force majeure events, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Where a delay becomes significant, Kingdom Things will endeavour to communicate with the affected customer and provide reasonable assistance.

16. IMPORTANT CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy is intended to remove, restrict or waive any rights that a consumer has under applicable South African law.

Where South African law requires Kingdom Things to provide a particular remedy because of a failure to deliver, defective goods, cancellation or another circumstance, those legal requirements will apply.

This policy must therefore be read together with our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy and our Terms & Conditions.
